🎁 Here’s How Your Shift Works - Processing Room

🕒 Arrive 15 minutes early at Modesto location
Check in to receive your station assignment and

review the current flow of incoming gifts from the Tree.

🎄 Coordinate with the Tree and Driver Teams.
Drivers will be bringing in tagged gifts from

the Vintage Faire Mall throughout the shift.

Be ready to receive deliveries, confirm counts,

and organize items by age group or tag number.

📋 Verify and Sort Gifts.
Match each gift with its corresponding tag,

ensuring the child’s name, size, and wish items are accurate.

Note any missing or extra items for Leadership to review.

🎁 Bag, Tag, and Add Finishing Touches.
Once verified, place all items for

a child into a single labeled bag.

Add any supplemental items available

(books, toys, or accessories)

to complete the package.

📦 Place Completed Bags into Delivery Bins.
Organize finished bags by route or school number

so that pickup teams can easily load and

transport them to the site or location.

💪 Assist and Communicate.
Support Drivers when unloading,

help fellow Volunteers stay organized,

and follow Leadership direction

to keep the workflow smooth and efficient.

🧹 End of Shift.
Before leaving, confirm your area is tidy,

bins are labeled, and all tags are accounted for.

Check out with your Leadership and ensure

the next shift can pick up right where you left off.

Important: Every detail matters - accuracy ensures

that each child receives exactly what was chosen for them.
